The concept of health revitalization works on two levels.  Individuals who presently have good health will benefit by being able to maintain that state of good health longer.  Those who are suffering from poor health will have an opportunity to make great strides in health improvement.  fresh-veggies

 

So many people with health problems never really regain their health, but simply take medications to alleviate symptoms.  Our Health Revitalization program offers an opportunity for real and substantial change.  For motivated individuals this ultimately translates into better medical therapy with fewer medications and a lower potential for toxicity and side effects.  

 

Knowledge accumulated from years spent studying nutritional, supplemental, and alternative therapies has allowed me to approach the prevention and treatment of disease from a different perspective.  Good health is best achieved when the healing potential of the body is optimal. 

 

To guide you in the right direction, I have created a customized program to help individuals choose the right foods and supplements.  Motivated individuals may choose to go one step further and participate in the health revitalization program 

 

I have designed a comprehensive life-altering program for motivated individuals who truly want to change their personal health.  This program goes beyond weight loss.  You will learn about some of the more common causes of disease and how to avoid them. 

 

You will learn how to eat better.  Your taste buds will gradually be awakened by new foods and new ways to cook them.  Improving exercise and relaxation habits are an integral part of the program. It will help you get out of a rut and back into life……and you will feel good! 

 

Prior to starting the program a panel of basic labs will be drawn and you will receive a health assessment questionnaire. The wellness inventory will establish a baseline.

 

An initial consultation will be scheduled to review the lab results, the wellness inventory, and supplement recommendations (20 min., with or without a physical).  Written information and guidelines will be given for the initial portion of the program.   

 

The first week of the program begins with a 1 to 2 day fast followed by an elimination diet.  This is an extremely important part of the program.  Loss of energy, chronic fatigue, and generally not feeling well are often related to the build-up of toxins within the body, food allergies, and imbalances of bacteria in the GI tract.  This special diet is designed to “clean the slate” and get things back in order.  Even for individuals who just want to lose weight, this is a great way to start. 

 

The elimination diet will be followed for 1-2 weeks.  This will be an opportunity to thoroughly read the materials provided.  The first 1-2 weeks are also for planning a regular exercise routine and starting to get acquainted with relaxation techniques.  Ideally, the program requires about 1-2 hours of designated personal time per day.  Another office visit will occur at the two week mark to create an individualized plan.  The program can be customized such that each individual can progress at their own rate.  Motivational office visits can be scheduled at 2-4 week intervals after the initial visits.

 

The program can be pursued on an individual basis, but also works very well with couples and groups.  For a nominal fee I would be glad to do some evening sessions on pertinent topics with groups of individuals.  Also if there is interest I would be able to arrange lectures and classes on stress reduction and relaxation techniques.
